Reservations, check-in and general policies:
Reservations are always recommended and could be essential for the summertime and holidays. Some reservations may require a deposit or credit card to be confirmed. We have a 48 hour cancellation policy. Late cancellations will lose their deposit.

There is a $20 key deposit for each key, which is refunded on checkout. Every dorm guest must have their own key.

Every guest must present government issued, valid, photo identification such as a Passport, Drivers License or State ID. This is required by law.

We reserve the right to require proof of near-future travel of potential guests. Such as a plane or bus ticket leaving San Francisco.

Children under 16 years of age are required to stay with their parents in a private room. The dorm rate is applied to additional children on mattresses in the room.

Pets are usually not allowed. Guide Dogs for the disabled are always welcome.

Visitors are welcome in the Lobby and Café/ Restaurant only.

Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the hostel except in the outdoor café area and the roof garden (when open).

Food and Alcohol are not permitted in the rooms.

Violations of the Visitor, or Smoking and Alcohol policies are treated very seriously.
